Cleveland Public Theatre is seeking Volunteers!

CPT ‘s mission is to produce ground breaking performances and life-changing educational programs in order to raise consciousness and nurture compassion. CPT is seeking a PM/TD that is interested in being a part of a team that is working collaboratively to grow the organization and have an impact on the community. CPT’s season typically includes the production of 8-10 plays and three performance series in two flexible theatres: the 100-150 seat James Levin Theatre and the 100-250 seat Gordon Square. The season runs from September through June.

Looking for a fun way to get involved at CPT?
Cleveland Public Theatre is seeking volunteers for our 2006/2007 season! 
We currently have usher positions open. As an usher for CPT you will greet, direct and assist patrons attending performances in both the Levin and Gordon Theatres. Ushers are asked to report to the House Manager at least one hour before performance time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • stuffing of programs
  • greeting patrons
  • checking tickets
  • distributing programs to patrons
  • directing patrons

Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age, be a team player and able to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse cultural backgrounds. Performance times vary at each theatre and are as follows:
James Levin Theatre
Thurs-Sat. 7:30 pm with ushers arriving at 6:30 pm

Gordon Square Theatre:
Thurs-Sat. 8:00 pm with ushers arriving at 7:00 pm

Sunday showtimes are 3:00 pm for both theatres; ushers arrive at 2:00 pm.
