Cleveland Public Theatre is seeking Volunteers!
CPT ‘s mission is to produce ground breaking performances and life-changing educational programs in order to raise consciousness and nurture compassion. CPT’s season typically includes the production of 8-10 plays and two performance series in three flexible theatres: the 100-150 seat James Levin Theatre, the 50-65 seat Storefront Theatre and the 100-250 seat Gordon Square Theatre. The season runs from September through June.
Looking for a fun way to get involved at CPT? Cleveland Public Theatre is seeking volunteers for our 2011-2012 season! We currently have usher positions open! As an usher for CPT you will greet, direct and assist patrons attending performances in the James Levin Theatre, Storefront Studio and Gordon Square Theatre. Ushers are asked to report to the House Manager at least one hour before performance time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- stuffing of programs
- greeting patrons
- checking tickets
- distributing programs to patrons
- directing patrons
Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age, be a team player and able to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse cultural
backgrounds. Performance times vary at each theatre and are as follows:
James Levin Theatre and The Storefront Studio
Monday and Thursday-Saturday 7:00 pm curtain, ushers arrive at 6:00 pm
Gordon Square Theatre:
Monday and Thursday-Saturday 7:30 pm curtain, ushers arrive at 6:30 pm
