CPT is planning the 2018/2019 Season, and we are reaching out to you for great ideas.
CPT is focused on new work that is surprising, unexpected and somehow outside the realm of conventional theatre.
CPT is looking for proposals from Northeast Ohio artists for complete projects. Proposals may be for world premieres, second or third US productions, radical re-envisioning of classic plays or other projects. The show could be your own show or a script you would like to work on.
Based on the success of past co-productions and our New Play Development series, we are also interested in creating opportunities for artists and groups that would like to retain greater ownership of projects and who can share risk with CPT. Read More ›

CPT is now accepting applications for The Kulas Foundation Theatre Composer fellowships. The Kulas Foundation Theatre Composer Initiative is a year-long fellowship program providing early-career composers with first-hand experience creating music and sound design for theatre.
This initiative engages composers/designers in a collaborative process, under the guidance of the show producer and director, to compose and produce original music for full productions and works-in-development in CPT’s Season and to learn about other parts of the creative and production process of theatre. Composers gain hands-on learning experiences through sound design opportunities.

CPT’s Director Fellow Program is a year-long program for emerging directors of extraordinary potential living in Northeast Ohio. Past fellows have assistant directed full productions, created and directed original pieces for Station Hope and Pandemonium, and assisted in coordinating events and new play development series.
The Director Fellow Program is a direct mentorship with Executive Artistic Director Raymond Bobgan. Fellows work directly with Raymond and the CPT staff. Read More ›
