Without Words… Moving Against the Sex Trade

by Mikaela Clark and Mackenzie Clevenger

Without Words…Moving Against the Sex Trade is an evoking multimedia dance performance created to inspire audiences to take action on behalf of those enslaved by the global sex trade. This presentation features a creative collaboration of local dancers, cinematographers, musicians and visual artists that combine to serve as a visible force for the oppressed. The result is a provocative and profound production that shines a spotlight on human dignity and the inherent value of life.

There will be a brief talk-back immediately following the Saturday evening performance (June 4th) for those interested in asking questions about the work or discussing issues raised through Without Words. Mackenzie and Mikaela will be joined by representatives from the International Justice Mission and the Renee Jones Empowerment Center, as well as a few artists who have collaborated in the creation of this work.
