Every year, CPT welcomes Northeast Ohio's most adventurous contemporary dance companies to the CPT stage for remarkable and premiere dance performances. DanceWorks Week 1 features work created by Inlet Dance Theatre. #danceworks22

-The CPT StaffIn just FOUR weeks, Inlet dancers will be taking the James Levin Theatre stage at Cleveland Public Theatre for DanceWorks 2022! Mark your calendars: February 10-12 (Thurs/Fri/Sat) @ 7pm each night.

One of the pieces being performed in this concert is “Hiding & Revealing,” a bespoke work about Holocaust survivor stories. It speaks to a specific aspect of the Holocaust and to something that humans have done throughout history: hiding to ensure survival and revealing when it is safe. The piece premiered in the summer of 2021 at Inlet’s 20th anniversary performance at the Cain Park Evans Ampitheatre. The above image was captured during this performance. Inlet is excited to bring this piece back to the stage in a more intimate setting.
