Test Flight

Jan 29 - Feb 14 | This multi-week series showcases new work on its way to full production. CPT encourages local and national artists to take risks and develop an entrepreneurial spirit toward creating as they co-produce original works-in-progress.

CAN Academy

Jan 20 - Mar 12 | CPT's FREE performing arts program for youth ages 11-14 to engage in rigorous (and fun!) theatre training, learning acting fundamentals, script analysis, storytelling techniques, and play creation. Led by multidisciplinary artist Cassandra Miller.

Haunted

Mar 5 - 21 | Ash and Aaron have been dead for twenty years, and the Indigenous siblings pass their time dancing to Britney Spears and haunting families that try to move into their house. As the cycle begins again, the siblings ask: will they ever make it to the Spirit World?

Into the Heart of One Star

Mar 19 - Apr 4 | Icarus' father wonders how their flight went wrong. A simple woman from Siberia becomes a leader in space flight while wishing for home. Their journeys reflect on each other in this duet of solo shows by CPT's Raymond Bobgan and Anastasía Urozhaeva.

For Cleveland Public Theatre to continue its existing work, as well as expand and deepen its impact, CPT’s $12M capital campaign will support improvements to its Gordon Square Theatre lobby, classroom, Church and Parish Hall, and building exterior. Learn how this exciting project will increase the number of individuals the organization serves, expand artistic offerings, and create accessible spaces that celebrate its diverse stakeholders.
