Student Theatre Enrichment Program (STEP)

In CPT's eight-week summer program, youth ages 14–19 create, produce, perform, and tour their own play. A powerful learning experience that develops job skills, academic achievement, and interpersonal skills.

"Open Home, Open House" Tours

Feb 11 - May 14 | As we break ground on multimillion-dollar renovations, join us for FREE tours to see firsthand what all the fuss is about and meet key players on this project, including Executive Artistic Director Raymond Bobgan and Director of Development Melissa Waddell.

The Dark Room

May 12 | In this "open mic" for playwrights, writers test their new play, novel, poem, or any other writing. Playwrights may bring up to 10 pages, and actors are cast on the spot. Open to all writers, performers, and audience members interested in cold readings of new scripts.

Ignite Festival

May 29 | CPT presents a community arts festival at Lakeview Terrace! Join the young artists in our CMHA CAN program and members of the Lakeview community in a celebration of creativity with food, performances, and interactive experiences.

For Cleveland Public Theatre to continue its existing work, as well as expand and deepen its impact, CPT’s $12M capital campaign will support improvements to its Gordon Square Theatre lobby, classroom, Church and Parish Hall, and building exterior. Learn how this exciting project will increase the number of individuals the organization serves, expand artistic offerings, and create accessible spaces that celebrate its diverse stakeholders.
