Physical Box Office Hours
At least one hour before the curtain time.
Ticket Exchanges and Refunds
You can exchange your ticket to a different performance of same show with 24 hours’ notice. All sales are final.
In the unlikely event of a cancellation, we will do our best to contact you and arrange for a ticket exchange to a different performance, or for a refund.
General Admission Seating
Nearly all of our performances are General Admission: first come, first seated. Lobbies generally open 45 minutes prior to curtain time, while seating generally begins at 30 minutes to curtain.
Due to our unorthodox use of performance spaces, some shows feature limited or no late seating. All late seating is done at the discretion of CPT staff.
Dress for Adventure
Some patrons come dressed for a night on the town, some come in a t-shirt and jeans. The most important thing is that everyone has a great time at the theatre.
CPT Gift Cards are available for purchase in any denomination at the box office or by phone. Gift cards can be used to purchase tickets online, over the phone, or in person, as well as at the CPT bar.
Cleveland Public Theatre continues our facilities renovation with the goal of making our campus as accessible as possible. The Gordon Square Theatre and James Levin Theatre are now fully accessible, featuring a patron elevator and gender-neutral, wheelchair-accessible restrooms. Due to the historic nature of the Church and Parish Hall buildings, these venues are not currently accessible.
Cleveland Public Theatre is located at 6415 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44102 – in the heart of the Gordon Square Arts District on Cleveland’s near west side, just a 10 minute drive from downtown. Free parking is available on campus, on the street and in surrounding lots. The theatre is located on several public bus routes and offers bike racks for cyclists. Click here for map and directions.
