In The Sparrow's Fortune's The Books That Found Us, several Cleveland writers and performers encounter a novel written by Toni Morrison at a pivotal point in their lives. Each book gives them language for the experiences they struggle to communicate. Over time, the characters intersect in a shared space within the Cleveland arts/community scene, through dialogue, poems, and monologues inspired by the work of the Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winning Lorain native.
The event is part of a city-wide celebration of Toni Morrison.
The newly renovated Gordon Square Theatre is ADA-compliant, featuring several wheelchair accessible restrooms.
