This Saturday, June 21, 2025, celebrate Juneteenth the Djapo Cultural Arts Institute way with “After Freedom: The Practice of Liberation," a program of dance, drumming, storytelling, live painting, poetry, and film from 4–7pm at Cleveland Public Theatre. But the day after freedom begs the deeper question—what now?“After Freedom: The Practice of Liberation” invites us to reflect not just on emancipation, but on the ongoing journey of becoming whole.
