Inlet Dance Theatre

Inlet Dance Theatre will perform a wide variety of works that are personal, regional, and global in content. Repertory includes a world premiere by tanztheatre choreographer Stephen Wynne, entitled “Out of Nowhere” and a remounting of choreographer Sally Wallace’s award winning “Tides and Solitude.”

Inlet’s Artistic Director/Founder, Bill Wade will remount his “Dream of Sleeping” and premiere two new works, “Age of Isolation” and another work (yet untitled). Additionally, Inlet will share four indigenous Rapa Nui (Easter Island) dances learned as part of an international artist exchange with choreographer Akahanga Rapu Tuki.

Inlet Dance Theatre will travel to Santiago, Chile and Easter Island in April of 2008 to complete the international exchange made possible by the State Department, the American Embassy in Santiago, Chile, The Ohio Arts Council, the Ohio Arts Foundation, and Playhouse Square Center’s Education Department.
