Join CPT at PlayhouseSquare for a new take on this holiday favorite directed by Associate Artistic Director Beth Wood. "The Santaland Diaries", by best-selling author David Sedaris, is the story of an out of work actor taking a job as Crumpet, a Macy's Christmas elf, in 1989. Now in his mid-fifties, Crumpet's hilarious recount of the trials and tribulations that the Holidays bring is sure to bring a smile to even the grouchiest face! This year's "Santaland Diaries" will feature Cleveland's own Kevin Joseph Kelly as "Crumpet the Elf." After the show the evening continues as the The Loush Sisters take the stage. Join these vivacious gals as they use pop music and holiday classics to describe how their lascivious and outrageous behavior makes the yuletide gay.
