The Creative Production Team Includes:
Craig J. George - Director
Tackling a timely topic given bans on gay marriage are being reconsidered and struck down in states like Pennsylvania and Idaho, Standing on Ceremony is part of the Maltz Museum’s Begin the Conversation series of thought-provoking play readings, speakers, films and concerts designed to spark community dialogue and to explore the experiences that connect us and the issues that divide us in working toward a more tolerant and inclusive future.
About the Maltz Museum
The mission of the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is to introduce visitors to the beauty and diversity of that heritage in the context of the American experience. It promotes an understanding of Jewish history, religion and culture, and builds bridges of appreciation, tolerance and understanding with those of other religions, races, cultures and ethnic backgrounds, serving as an educational resource for Northeast Ohio’s Jewish and general communities.
The Maltz Museum is conveniently located in Beachwood, Ohio, less than one mile north of the Chagrin/422 West Exit off Interstate 271 and about 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland.
