Mira wants to move out of her parent’s home without losing her connection. Third Generation American Sami seeks travels overseas to connect with his roots. Hassan is breaking under the pressure of work, community commitments and his family needs here and overseas. These three young adults push against and pull towards their heritage, communities, and families, as they work towards becoming their full selves. The Outstretched Hand يد الوصال is about connections to our families, our heritage and ourselves. World Premiere.
تريد ميرا أن تغادر منزل أهلها و أن تعيش بمفردها دون أن تخسر صلتها بهم. يسعى سامي الأمريكي من الجيل الثالث للسفر الى بلد أجداده وبناء الصلة مع جذوره. حسن ينهار تحت ضغوطات العمل والإلتزامات الإجتماعية واحتياجات أسرته هنا و في وطنه. هؤلاء الشباب يبتعدون عن التراث والتقاليد العائلية والإجتماعية تارةً ويقتربون منها تارةً وهم يحاولون إيجاد أنفسهم. يد الوصال The Outstretched Hand تتمحور حول صلتنا مع عائلتنا وتراثنا وأنفسنا.

Thursday (Nov. 16)—Opening night with preshow reception at 6:45pm and post-show dessert reception.
Friday (Nov. 17)—Pre-show light appetizers, and dessert reception after the show.
Saturday (Nov. 18)— Pre-show light appetizer reception at 7pm, and post-show dessert, and talk-back.
Sunday (Nov. 19) ―Doors open at 2:30pm for pre-show dessert, show begins promptly at 3pm. Audience Talk-back and closing performance dessert reception after the show.
تفتح الأبواب في الساعة 6:45 مساء الخميس (16 نوفمبر)
- ليلة الافتتاح مع المقبلات الخفيفة قبل العرض في الساعة 6:45 مساء.
الجمعة (17 نوفمبر) - مقبلات خفيفة قبل العرض ، استقبال الحلوى بعد العرض.
السبت (18 نوفمبر) - حفل استقبال المقبلات الخفيفة قبل العرض في الساعة 7 مساء ، والحلويات بعد العرض ومحادثات الجمهور.
الأحد (19 نوفمبر) - تفتح الأبواب في الساعة 2:30 مساء لاستقبال الحلوى قبل العرض. يبدأ العرض على الفور في الساعة 3 مساء. حديث الجمهور وحفل استقبال الحلوى الختامي بعد العرض.

Masrah Cleveland Al-Arabi مسرح كليفلاند العربي broadly includes third generation Americans, as well as recent arrivals, Muslims, Christians, and those of other faiths, who are curious and passionate.
