Get ready for Kwingo's Comedy Revue—an electrifyingly new variety show at Cleveland Public Theatre!

This one-night-only gag-fest features stand-up, sketch, burlesque, drag, and music from talented queer folx out of the Midwest. We’re taking over the Parish stage, and with Cleveland Pride just around the corner, what better way to kick off the celebration than by showcasing the comedic brilliance of the many hilarious acts emerging from our city?

Birthed from the mind of our NNPN Producer in Residence, Kadijah Wingo (aka Kwingo). Kwingo creates an experience that pushes boundaries, shatters expectations, and invites you to laugh harder, cheer louder, and feel more alive than ever before. Expect the unexpected as our diverse lineup of performers leaves it all on the stage. Through outrageous sketches, side-splitting stand-up, jaw-dropping drag, and high-energy burlesque, this is a comedy show like no other because it’s more than just comedy—it’s a show of revolutionary joy. It’s out of the box, it’s fresh, it’s queer, and it’s unapologetically here.

You won’t want to miss the chance to be a part of this unforgettable night at CPT. Kwingo’s Comedy Revue is where the future of comedy meets the heart of Cleveland’s queer community—let’s make history, together.

About the creator

Kadijah Wingo, aka “Kwingo,” is a force of nature in the world of comedy, acting, writing, and producing. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, she’s carving out her unique space in the industry, most recently hitting new heights at Cleveland Public Theatre, where she’s been behind the scenes curating cutting-edge festivals of fresh theatrical works. When she’s not turning visions into reality for other artists, she’s electrifying local stages at hotspots like Snowflake Comedy, Don’t Tell Comedy CLE, Imposters, and Con Tú, to name a few. As a featured comic at the Detroit Women of Comedy Festival and a finalist in the Bill Squires Comedy Contest, Kwingo’s talent is undeniable. Though she eats in many ways, her passion for collaboration and constant evolution as an artist drives everything she does.
