Perigon: A Birth Story
By Marie McCausland
Directed & Produced by Cassandra Miller

A Birth Story, written by Marie McCausland and directed and produced by Cassandra Miller, is inspired by Marie’s lived experiences throughout adolescence, birth, and womanhood.  Join us as we embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth.

BOXED
Devised & Choreographed by Elizabeth Pollert
Producer: Julia Dillard

The box-heads are busy—boxing, sorting, categorizing. Keeping things in right-angled order. But the squareness doesn’t suit everyone, for long…what’s in a box must come out.

With a tape gun and a pile of boxes, this show constructs a world where labels and identities can be explored, re-worked, and built anew. Here, there is space between the rigid boxes society puts us in and the endless potential of an empty cardboard box.

Devised and choreographed by multidisciplinary artist Elizabeth Pollert, this witty, incisive dance theatre work takes a sharp look at what it means to make room for our whole selves in a world that constantly tries to contain and categorize us.

Joined by a brilliant cast of dancers from around northeast Ohio, this work is sure to surprise. Come unbox some laughs and reveal new possibilities for seeing ourselves and each other beyond the boxes.

The James Levin Theatre is ADA-compliant featuring a patron elevator and an all-gender, wheelchair-accessible restroom.
