Join CPT at Playhouse Square! The Santaland Diaries is best-selling author David Sedaris’ semi-autobiographical story of a jaded, 33-year-old out-of-work actor who takes a job as “Crumpet the Elf” at a Macy’s department store in 1989. As thousands of holiday customers gaily tromp through his display, Crumpet regales the audience with wicked observations about the realities of holiday cheer, all performed with an edgy and sardonic wit that has made The Santaland Diaries an enduring and off-beat holiday favorite.

**Recommended for mature audiences.**
