CPT Seeking Stage Managers

Cleveland Public Theatre Seeking Energetic, Kind and Highly Organized Individuals to join our Stage Management Team for the 16/17 Season

Cleveland Public Theatre is seeking extraordinary stage managers for our 16/17 season. CPT is a groundbreaking, professional theatre focused on workshopping and producing new plays, devising ensemble-based work and engaging underserved communities in making theatre. Successful stage managers at CPT will be eager to learn, collaborative, highly organized and generous. CPT’s culture values hard work, kindness, passion and grace-under-pressure.

In general, CPT productions rehearsal 4-5 weekday evenings (6p-10p) and 1 weekend afternoon for 4 – 5 weeks prior to opening. This season, all full productions will have one weekend of previews (Thurs-Sat), return to rehearsal the following week and open on that Friday. In addition to rehearsals, CPT stage managers schedule and run weekly production meetings.

Celebrated stories from Teatro Public de Cleveland’s repertoire presented as a one-weekend-only event with live music and food.

LIGHT THE LIGHTS, OL’ MOSES CLE! (A WILD HOLIDAY ROMP)
November 25 – December 18 | Gordon Square Theatre | originated by Raymond Bobgan & Beth Wood
A vaudeville-inspired evening of holiday folly, mischief and merry-making, CPT style.

THE SANTALAND DIARIES
December 1 – 18 | Playhouse Square | directed by Cathleen O’Malley
Daytime availability a plus, but not a requirement

DANCEWORKS

Daytime commitment required. No commitment prior to 5/8 needed. Each week is a new show and a new group of artists.
