Cleveland Public Theatre announces STEP (Student Theatre Enrichment Program) 2021 WINTER SESSION


Who: Youth Ages 14-19

What: The 2021 STEP Winter Session youth will build storytelling skills (incorporating body, voice, and ensemble) and community while devising an original performance piece to be presented on Zoom. Since its beginning in 1994, STEP has received multiple awards and recognitions, including those from the City of Cleveland, The President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, and the National Endowment for the Arts. This program’s summer model is the longest-running arts-based workplace development program in Cleveland and is an international model for engaging youth.  Through STEP, teens see themselves as a positive and inspirational force and watch as their work has an impact on the larger Cleveland community.

Station Hope 2021 Request for Proposals

STATION HOPE 2021

Deadline for submissions is Monday, February 22.

Cleveland Public Theatre is planning the eighth annual STATION HOPE, a one night event of entertainment and art inspired by the history of St. John’s Episcopal Church and the Underground Railroad, the repercussions of oppression, and contemporary struggles for social justice, on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
