PANDEMONIUM TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE JOB DESCRIPTION

Every September, Cleveland Public Theatre hosts its one and only fundraising spectacular: Pandemonium! The Technical Associate works with the TD and ATD to create & implement all artistic and technical components in multiple spaces across the CPT campus. During the event, the staff acts as a go-to team of stagehands & technicians, solving issues that arise & helping the stage/area managers as needed. Anticipated Start & End Dates: June 17th, 2024 –  no later than September 22rd, 2024
*Must be available ALL DAY on Saturday, September 7th 

Hours: Full-Time Staff members are expected to work an average of 40-45 hours per week. Some weeks will be closer to 40 hours, while the week of the event can be up to 60 hours.

SKILLS 

  • Excellent project management skills 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Ability to collaborate and be a team player 
  • Excellent technical skills in at least three of the following areas: 

        -Sound 

        -Lighting 

        -Scenic Construction 

        -Rigging 

        -Visual Art 

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs 

QUALITIES & PERSONALITY 

  • Attention to detail and accuracy while working on multiple projects and tasks 
  • Ability to work independently  
  • Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to re-prioritize tasks as they arise
